Is it possible to get malaria again in a non-tropical area?!
Question: i've lived in a tropical country and now I dont. But I had malaria before i left. Is it possible to get it after a year since it does stay in the liver for some time.

If you have Malaria, you'll always have it but, you can control it.
Malaria stays in your liver, it lives there, when it starts to breed or to multiply it then travels into the blood system and goes into the blood cells and multiplies there, killing the cell in the meantime. This is when you have these attacks, eventually if not treated, throught time it becomes so intense that body cannot fight it off any longer and it dies.
yes you can foods can kick it off shell fish is notorious for bringing it back.

You don't have to live in the tropics to get malaria. Just ask the old folks who grew up in the Big Thicket of Texas.
