Nosebleed question?!

Question: So I have really bad allergies right now & I have been extremely stressed this week. Stress + Allergies=No bueno.

Anyway, I had an exam today & yesterday & felt the need to blow my nose both times. However, when I wiped my nose, I saw blood on the tissue & after my tests I went to the restroom & sneezed & their was blood on the kleenex.

I have had nosebleeds on & off again but never 2 days in a row? Can someone help?

Small amounts of bleeding are common when the nose is irritated, but its a different problem if your nose is pouring our blood for no reason. Frequent nose-blowing and allergies irritate the nasal lining and cause it to bleed. Its likely it will continue to bleed a little until the allergy goes away. An antihistamine such as Claritin or Zyrtec might help with the allergies, and use of a saline spray might also reduce the irritation.

if you have chronic EPISTAXIS (Nosebleed )
