Question: Chest tightness durinf pregnancy!?
I am 29 wks and I am experiencing very uncomfortable chest tightness right now and do on occassion!.( I have
NO shortness of breath or weezing, no history of asthma)
I was wondering if anyone knows what might be going on!.!.!.

I work for a pulmonologist (a lung doc), and we see quite a few women who have this problem!. There are a lot of changes to the body during pregnancy, and women who've never had asthma sometimes exhibit the symptoms!. I would let your OB know!. They may be able to prescribe something to help with your chest tightness, or they might refer you to a lung doc!. If it becomes severe and you're unable to speak with your doctor, I would definitely go to the ER or L & D!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
