Question: Dust and allergens in the air!?!?
My husband and my daughter both have allergies, and I guess this year is really bad here in the south!. I dont have allergies so I dont really know what to do to help the air quality!. Im going to get a new air filter for the a/c and some of those things that go in the vents!.!. (sorry if this doesnt make sense) !.!. vaccum daily instead of every other day but what else can i do!? I dont have $200 to spend on on a purifier they are both taking allergy meds but still miserable!.!. any advice,tips or tricks would be greatly appreciatedWww@Answer-Health@Com

There are good and useless air purifiers!. Check your local Freecycle to see if someone is getting rid of one!.Alen is a really good brand!. De humidifiers help too and I know I got rid of one here in California on Freecycle!. If it is dust mite allergies, get rid of as much carpeting and upolstery as you can!. Leather is great because you can wipe it down!. Encase their mattresses and pillows with dust mite proof covers!. A mattress can double in weight over 10 yrs time because of the weight of the dead dust mites and their poop!! Wash ALL bedding, blankets sheet covering in super hot water every week!. Don't set those clean covers down on anything that would have dust mites!. Soft things!. Add a HEPA filter to the vacum and do the vacuming when they won't be in the house for an hour after you are done so the 'dust' can settle!.You probably won't have to vacum everyday w/ a HEPA, most vacums push some of the dust right back out!. The bedroom is by far the most important room to treat!. The allergy covers go on sale at Mervyns for really cheap!. There are good ones and expensive ones available on line too!.
Yes I have severe dust mite allegies and am doing really well know even w/ my other allergies (tree!.!.!.) because I took all tese steps w/ my indoor allergies

Buy them each their own Neti Pot!.!.It will help clean out their sinuses!.!.It really works!.!.you can buy em at any drug store!.Be sure they use it every day , especially if they have been outside!.they only cost like 12 bucks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
