Answers:
I have Cancer ~ either Ovarian or Uterine, they aren't sure yet because I haven't had surgery to eradicate the Cancer from my body, and only the pathology will tell us the exact type of Cancer we're dealing with ~ and there were NO SIGNS or SYMPTOMS to alert us to the Cancer's presence in my body!.

Typically, Uterine Cancer has some kind of calling card, some symptom, whether it be excessive bleeding or extreme menstrual cramping that won't stop!. Ovarian Cancer, on the other hand, is usually sneaky ~ Ovarian Cancer is one of the deadliest Cancers to women because it has few if any signs or symptoms!. It creeps up silently, rarely showing itself until it's too late!.

In my case, I have Addison's Disease ~ a condition in which my Adrenal Glands, which sit on top of the kindeys, no longer produce Cortisol, the body's stress hormone!. If you get sick or are under a lot of pressure, your Adrenal Glands produce more Cortisol to help you "weather the storm" of the additional strain on your body!. Mine don't even produce what I need to live on a daily basis, so I have to take a replacement dose of something called Hydrocortisone, a steroid, just to stay alive!.

The type of doctor who helps you manage a disease like Addison's is an Endocrinologist, and that's the person who first detected something wrong, which turned out to be Cancer!. My Endo noticed my Serum Calcium was High, but my PTH (parathyroid hormone) was low; usually, the Serum Calcium is only high if the PTH is high, signalling a malfunction with the parathyroid!. Since my PTH was low when my Serum Calcium was high, he said it could only mean one thing: I had Cancer!.

My Endo sent me to a Specialist in Hematology/Oncology and told me to have him "find my Cancer"!. The Specialist DID find my Cancer, and the rest is history -- I'm now fighting for my life!. But, even to this day, some 6-months after I was diagnosed with Cancer, I still haven't had any signs or symptoms of the disease!.

You can't always count on Cancer to show itself!. Some Cancers can be sneaky and won't necessarily reveal themselves to you until it's too late for treatment or recovery; other Cancers show themselves right away!. Some Cancers are fairly easy to treat ~ a quick surgery or couple of rounds of Chemotherapy and you're done; other Cancers are virtually impossible to treat, or will recur almost as soon as treatment is complete, leaving little to no options open for futher treatment or remission!.

I don't know what type of answers you're expecting, but be prepared to be open-minded about things!. Try to remember, all diseases are not alike, just as all people are not alike!. Rarely will a person have a story that's just like someone else's!. There is no one "perfect" set of symptoms to look for with Cancer!.
