Treating my rabbit for ear mites.?!
Question: Treating my rabbit for ear mites!.!?
I am not sure if my rabbit has ear mites, but I am pretty sure he does, he is always itiching and shaking his head!. I just got him so I am not sure how long this has been going on!. He has some dry flaky crust in one ear, at the base!.
Would treating him for ear mites hurt him if he doesn't have ear mites!? I would like to know this as quickly as possible because I have two older rabbits and have never seen this before!Www@Answer-Health@Com

ear mites leave dusty waxy red-brown stuff in the ear canal and sometimes just outside the ear!. You can carefully check for this with a Q tip!. I buy ear mite med on-line, but they probably sell it at pet stores!. It won't hurt to treat your rabbits if they don't have them!. They are very itchy for your pet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
