Well when i was 10 i found out my sister was suffering from Anorexia, scared me but i didn't really understand why she was doing it till i got into high school, then i realized i was actully not as skinny as other girls in my class, i was not over weight but i was maybe 10-20 pounds more then i was supposed to weigh for my height, and i loved food, so i decieded to throw up after i would eat, got so bad i had to go into a mental hospital and be on ONE on ONE so i wouldn't be able to throw up my food, after i left i snapped back into doing it till one day i threw up with blood, i got so scared i was thinking i would have to go back to hospital, and not only that i feared what could happen to me, and mind me my sister suffered and i stopped even though it took me a while but my sister was still suffering from Anorexia, shes small now, she was unable to develop like i did, i probably stopped other things from myself, but it was never as bad as her, shes 5'2 weighs 100 pounds and before she was weighting 95 pounds now shes stopped and now she cant gain weight, the only thing she could have gained were those 5 pounds but she cant anymore then that, her chest never grew, her butt never grew, her legs stayed skinny skinny, and shes still very small, and she suffers to this day regreting what she did, because of the way her body looks, shes 21 and her body looks like a 6 year old body, its sad, and people dont understand what people like my sister and me had to go through, this not only happends to girls but boys aswell, its tough to feel like your body isnt good enough and that you have to hurt yourself like that to make yourself feel good!? Let me tell you its never worth it, the consequences are never worth it!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I did a research paper on anorexia, and most of the people who read it were shocked to hear that it was serious!. Most people joke about it, and after that paper, I felt horrible!. It says that 80% girls are not content with their bodies, while less than 50% boys aren't!. I think that the ongoing pressures of teenage years have made it less addressed than it was in the past, making it more serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the people who make fun of something this serious has issues of their own!. however, sometimes kids get on here and they ruin it for others by asking questions that to us don't feel real!. i believe in its seriousnessWww@Answer-Health@Com

well in a world where millions do not have enough to eat it is controversial when someone does and pukes it up, killed Karen Carpenter, one of the greatest voices ever by farWww@Answer-Health@Com

whoever makes fun of this disease has no respect at all!. they hav no idea how hard it is!. like looking in the mirror and hating themselves!. and thoughts like "don't eat that you'll ruin all of your hard work!"Www@Answer-Health@Com
