Leukemia and tattoos?!
Question: Leukemia and tattoos!?
If someone has Leukemia can they still get a tattoo!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
I suggest that you be in remission and done with treatment!. If you do get it, alert your doc and have some blood tests done first, to make sure your white blood counts and platelet counts are at appropriate levels!. You should also get on anti biotics before hand, and stay on them until it is healed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Unless your in remission, then no!. You bleed a little when you get a tattoo, and someone who already bleeds easily, it isn't such a good idea!.
A good tattoo artist will ask if you are on blood thinners or have been taking aspirin or Morton or anything else that thins the blood!. If so, they wont do it!. Also anyone that is sick with anything, they wont do it!.
There is also a slight chance of infection, because it is an open wound until it heals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
