Not sure what stage you are in the breast cancer screening process!. If you had a mammogram and they noted a mass or an area, that does NOT necessarily mean you have cancer!.
I had a mammogram last year and several "spots" or places were noted on my films!. I went for an ultrasound and learned that all those places were cysts!.
Fibrocystic breast disease is somewhat common!.
Again, it's hard to answer your question because I am not sure where you are in the screening process or what you have been specifically told!.
No one can definitively say you have cancer until the "area" has been biopsied!. You may not even need a biopsy!.

A mass or lump in th breast is an early sign of breast cancer, but you should consult with your doctor who will conduct further tests to confirm whether it really is cancer, and IF it is what to do about it!. Early detection and treatment is key to survival if it is breast cancer, so don't mess with it!. Get it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it could it could also be a cyst u would have to go have a biopsy!. even if told it it cancer it still could be benign so please get it checked out immediatlyWww@Answer-Health@Com
