If you're in the US, it's summer right now!. My bet is that it's pollen or city pollutants irritating your sinus which is causing post-nasal drip!. Try allergy meds (antihistimines) at bedtime to see if this helps!.
If you're getting headaches or discomfort behind or around your eyes, you may have a sinus infection (sinusitis)!. This could also encourage sinus drainage!. Talk to your doctor for help!.
To flush your sinuses, check out the NETI pot!. You fill it with warm salt water and use it to flush out your nasal cavities up to several times a day as needed!. It'll do a better job cleaning out your nose than just blowing it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you open your widow it will let dry air in and dry your throat out, try putting a large glass of water next to your bed and one near a radiator or some sort of heater , try keep them in your room for a couple of days and untill you have your window closed!. It will increase the moisture and stop your sore throats!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
