Will Nair spread ringworm?!
Question: Will Nair spread ringworm!?
I had ringworm on my leg last year, for which the doctor prescribed a prescription antifungal cream!. I got rid of it -- or so I thought!. Apparently, when I shaved my legs, I had spread it to a few other places!. I only realized this a few weeks ago!. I used the rest of the antifungal cream, but I haven't shaved my legs since (because I don't want to spread it)!. They are extremely hairy right now!
So here's my dilemma: I want to go to the doctor, but I don't want to go until I shave my legs!. I don't want to shave my legs because my ringworm might spread again!. I thought about trying Nair, but I am afraid it will somehow spread it also!.
Does anyone know the answer!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Have you changed your razor!? Ringworm shouldn't spread unless you are using things that are still contaminated!. You could try waxing, which is a little uncomfortable but it lasts for weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Oh, grow up!. Like your doctor even cares if your legs aren't shaved! Ringworm is a fungus, and usually is treated with an antifungal!. You should not use Nair or anything like it because it's really irritating and also - IT DOESN'T WORK! In any case, I guarantee you your doctor doesn't give a rat's butt about your legs being shaved!. He/She probably won't even remember you 10 minutes after you leave the office! Just grow up and take care of yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'd think that nair'd kill ring worm with all the chemicals!.
Go to the Doctor!. Our Doctors in this country have a bad habit of giving half the information!. Why wouldn't your doctor have told you that the antifungle cream would take care of it but to not shave your legs, your a woman and it's summer!. Remember doctors are used to seeing us at worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can buy over the counter ointments for ringworm like Tinactin or Neosporin for ringworm and jockitch!. I would use that and then Nair your legs or wax them after it's cleared up!. I bet if you called your doctor, he could give you an answer over the phone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
when you shaved the shaver got some of the bactiera and ringworm is contageious so when you slide the shaver up/down your leg it spread it

When I had ringworm, it was REALLY sensitive!. I don't know if nair would spread it or not, but I imagine it would HURT!!. Plus, you're rubbing it around, so I'm sure there's a chance it could spread!.
