Assuming you were correctly diagnosed, yes!. But many times patients came to my office with chicken pox and the parents exclaimed that they were sure the child had them previously!. Recurrent chicken pox is very uncommon, and then only if the initial case was very mild with very few pox!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
