Does anyone have weird chest pains that last for only a few seconds?!

Question: Does anyone have weird chest pains that last for only a few seconds!?
For about a year or more, I've been having these odd, dull chest pains on my left side (right in the area of my heart)!. The pain only lasts for about 5 seconds or so, then goes away, then comes back about 10 seconds later, and lasts for 5 seconds, then leaves, then comes back again!.!.!.!.!. It repeats for hours at a time, then may suddenly go away for days!. It always comes back though!. I thought it had to do with breathing, but even when I hold my breath, I feel the pain!? What on Earth could this be!?!?!? My B/P runs a little high, about - 150/80!. Any suggestions or comments from doctors or others with this condition would be much appreciated!. That gallbladder answer is bogus!. The gall bladder is on the middle right side of your abdomen!. If your top number on blood pressure is high, your atrial chambers(upper left) looks like is having problems functioning!. Sounds like coronary blockage in your arteries building there!. You need to reduce the fat and cholesterol in your diet, and don't smoke!. Sounds like its not too serious yet because the arteries free up itself thru time as the heart beats!. However, it builds again as plaque residue is left behind after the clot clears through!. Need to see a doctor for blood thinner, cholesterol meds and high blood pressure meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have this as well, it last about 30 seconds and i can't breathe as well!. i believe my dr!. told me a few yrs ago its heartburn, which i can't see the severe pain not being directly related to my heart, but they go to med school, right!? i would try to stay on a aint acid, like zantac, and see how that goes!. mine ended up being related to my thyroid!. Have you seen your doc about it!? it might be a stress reaction!. Not that you are emotionally stressed but that your body is!. My doc explained that mine was likely because m,y body was lacking thyroid hormone, the chest pain was my bodys way of telling me "somethings wrong"!. I'm not saying its your thyroid, just that this could be your bodys signal to get a check up!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. This is called a "referred pain"!. It is not your heart, even though it feels like it!. It is your gallbladder!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I knew someone who had these same symptoms before he had a heart attack!. Well, it wasn't really a heart attack, but he thought it was at a time!. The doctors told him it was something called angina!. They found out he had some other cardiac problems as well!.

My dad gets chest pains because of his heartburn!.

I get chest pains when I have a panic attack!.

A friend of mine had this too and when she went to the doctor she was told she had pleurisy!.

Chest pains can also be a sign of costochondritis!.

We've had a dog come in with Pulmonary embolism!.

I've also seen a cat with some sort of lung disorder that was having sesetivity around her chest!.

My Labrador was having pains around his chest, but it was just sore muscles because he does a lot of running!.

We've also seen a dog that was hit by a car and injured his ribs and pinsched a chest nerve!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're under 40, good chance it's NOT your heart, unless you are seriously un healthy!. Angina is usually felt in the left shoulder/arm area, not just the "heart" zone!. Your pain could be gallbladder, heartburn or most likely gas!. I know you dont want to believe that (again, if you're under 40 and in relatively decent health), but it's true!. I went in at 32 and complained in ER of the pains, had a heart-cath scan done (VERY UN-FUN!) and found to be normal!. Check your family history of heart conditions, weigh the factors of your age and health, try changing your eating habits, use an anti-gas/heartburn tablet, etc!. before getting too freaked out!. you're normal sounding in my book, lots of men have this feeling!. if however, you are older, poor health, sweating, weak, clammy, dizzy, hard time breathing, naseated, GO TO THE ER!
hope youre just fine tho, bro!.
