There are numerous diseases that can and do cause those symptoms!. Including being dehydrated!!!! or having high blood pressure or high glucose levels!.

Go see your doctor for complete physical exam and talk to him/her about these percieved problems!.

Most people with alzheimers do not know they are doing strange things like you describe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Although Alzheimer's is generally associated with old people, there is a condition called Early-Onset Alzheimers in which people as young as 30 can have it!. I'm not sure if thats a minimun age or anything (i doubt it), but you should go check with a doctor to check if anythings wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could be either bipolar or have ADHD!. But first you need to have a thorough physical to make sure there's nothing wrong on that end!. Then get evaluated by a mental health professional!. There are medications that can help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

YOU may have the Medical Book Syndrome!. This is wear you read symptons and think you have the disease!. It could lead to you becoming a Hypochondriac!. I would check with a physician myself!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can't remember the name of it but there is a disease that younger people get that is like Alzheimers but can be treated, go to your doctor It might be nothing more than depression but he will know, good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Have you always been this way!? It sounds a lot like attention deficit disorder--and starts before your 7th birthday!. Here are the criteria for what is factored in for this diagnosis!.

DSM-IV criteria for ADHD (source: Wikipedia)
I!. Either A or B:
A!. Six or more of the following symptoms of inattention have been present for at least 6 months to a point that is disruptive and inappropriate for developmental level:
Often does not give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities!.
Often has trouble keeping attention on tasks or play activities!.
Often does not seem to listen when spoken to directly!.
Often does not follow instructions and fails to finish schoolwork, chores, or duties in the workplace (not due to oppositional behavior or failure to understand instructions)!.
Often has trouble organizing activities!.
Often avoids, dislikes, or doesn't want to do things that take a lot of mental effort for a long period of time (such as schoolwork or homework)!.
Often loses things needed for tasks and activities (e!.g!. toys, school assignments, pencils, books, or tools)!.
Is often easily distracted!.
Often forgetful in daily activities!.
B!. Six or more of the following symptoms of hyperactivity-impulsivity have been present for at least 6 months to an extent that is disruptive and inappropriate for developmental level:
Hyperactivity:
Often fidgets with hands or feet or squirms in seat!.
Often gets up from seat when remaining in seat is expected!.
Often runs about or climbs when and where it is not appropriate (adolescents or adults may feel very restless)!.
Often has trouble playing or enjoying leisure activities quietly!.
Is often "on the go" or often acts as if "driven by a motor"!.
Often talks excessively!.
Impulsiveness:
Often blurts out answers before questions have been finished!.
Often has trouble waiting one's turn!.
Often interrupts or intrudes on others (e!.g!., butts into conversations or games)!.
II!. Some symptoms that cause impairment were present before age 7 years!.
III!. Some impairment from the symptoms is present in two or more settings (e!.g!. at school/work and at home)!.
IV!. There must be clear evidence of significant impairment in social, school, or work functioning!.

You also could just have a lot of stress in your life that is making you forgetful, though I am not qualified to make these diagnoses!. Maybe you could see a counselor and explain what has been going on, especially if it has made a significant impairment on your life!. The counselor (psychiatrist, psychologist, psychiatric nurse practicioner, LISW) would be able to take a more thourough analysis of what your symptoms are--and make a diagnosis (or help you work with these symptoms)!. The DSM (this manual has criteria on how different psychiatric conditions should be diagnosed) criteria above are just a guideline!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
