Does anyone know about Hoof and Mouth?!
Question: Does anyone know about Hoof and Mouth!?
I am fourteen and was just diagnosed with Hoof and Mouth disease!. It won't have a really bad effect on me, but I am reallllllly afraid of giving to my horses!. I heard that it is deadly to hooved animals!. Does anyone know how it is tranferred from human to horse or horse to human!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first one affects cloven hoofed animals like cattle, sheep ,goats etc!. and not the horses!. This disease can occur in epidemic form and now very uncommon in the western hemisphere!. The disease is caused by a virus!. During epidemics the handlers of these animals can very rarely get the disease!.
The second one is the disease that humans get!. This is also from a virus but not the same virus causing the above disease in animals!. What you had got must be this disease
So you can now be free from any fears!.

This kind has NOTHING to do with the type cattle carry!.Hand foot and mouth in humans is caused by the coxsackle virus creating a mild infection that spreads in much the same way that a cold virus causing resiratory tract infections are spread through direct contact and droplets of virus particles in the atmosphere, signs are tiny blisters on hands, feet and in or around the nouth!. Adults can also get this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
