Question: Is it normal to sweat excessivley during puberty !?
is this just a physical phase that my child !.!. well teen is going through !? this hyperhidrosis that people are talking about !.!. well there's nobody in my family who's got it , but some of my relatives do remember puberty as being a sweaty time!. We've tried anti persperants with no avail and that's what makes me thing it's puberty more than anything!. because don't antiperperants help people with this hyperhidrosis !? I think it's just puberty , and I hope it is too!. Whatever it is , it's making my teen miserableWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is definately normal!. When I started taking hormone replacement (I'm 46) I noticed that some of things from puberty, like sweating, had returned!. Of course in my case I just adjusted my hormones which your daughter can't do!.
Have her checked out at the doctor because sweating is also a symptom of hyperthyroidism!.
Make sure you are using an anit-persperant and not just a deoderent!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you sweat a little it is probably from puberty!. but if it's alot then you might have hyperhidrosis!. i have the same problem!. it started when i was 12 or 13 and it has gotten worse now im 16 and i cant find anything that helps the sweating!.where are you sweating!?palms, feet, underarms, everywhere!? here are some websites that might help you out :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
