Has anyone experienced the switch from Synthroid to Armour?!
Question:
Has anyone experienced the switch from Synthroid to Armour?
I need help with fatigue and memory loss. I have read that Armour will help out where Synthroid does not (in some people) I have not lost the weight that I had hoped and now my memory is so bad. The fatigue comes and goes but is pretty bad too. I have been on the Synthroid for 3 ½ years now and tired being tired! I would love to hear from someone who has experienced the change. Pros and Cons.
Answers:
I wasn't on Synthroid, but I was on another T4 medication (Levoxyl) I started out on Levoxyl and it did nothing for my symptoms. After about 9 months, I added a small amount of Cytomel to the Levoxyl and it helped with 75% of my symptoms. After 2 years, I decided I still wanted to try Armour. I've been on it 4 years now and almost every symptom is gone. I still struggle with weight, but I have been able to lose weight with diet and exercise, something that didn't happen before.
Armour helps with symptoms such as fatigue, hairloss, constipation, depression, and muscle and joint aches.
Below are some Armour and thyroid links.
