Question: Staph Boil!? Im in pain help!!?
2 days ago I got a red bump on my knee that was itching me and was really sensitive!. By the end of the day it was red hard and hurt really bad!. Its still there and really hurts i can barely walk because itson my knee!. I thought it was a bite because I was outside all day and im never outside so i figured that was it!. Could this be staph!? How can I get rid of it!? I dont want to go to the doctor to get it drained because my sister had that done and it was really painful! I need some advice and quickWww@Answer-Health@Com

You can try to 'pop' it yourself, but you need to make sure you put antibacterial cream such as neosporin on it!. If it has a big whitehead on it, get clean washcloth and wet it with water as hot as you can stand!. Put it on the area for 10-15 minutes!. This will make it easier to pop!. If you have a needle like a sewing needle, you can use that, make sure you sterilize it in boiling water, or alcohol before you use it!. If you don't like that, or don't have one, you can just squeeze it like a zit!. This might be painful because it will require more force than a normal zit!. This is gross, but make sure your face is not in the 'line of fire' because the core might come shooting out at your face!. Once you have a hole in it, you should be able to get a lot of pus out by squeezing!. Get as much out as you can, and then make sure you put the neosporin and a band aid on it!. The neosporin plus has a pain reliever that works very well!.

You have staph crawling all over you in their millions!. If you have, say, an injured follicle, you can end up with an infection, or boil!. These can get very serious indeed!. Go to the doctor, you may need it lanced and a course of antibiotics, and antibacterial topical treatment!.

If I were you and could barely walk, I would go to the doctors!. Go to a different one to the one your sister went to!. They aren't all bad!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
