the appendix is a little flap of skin and does nothing at all!. the problems arise when this gets inflammed (hence the term appendicitis)!. If the inflammation gets very bad - it may burst sending toxins into the blood stream!. This is very dangerous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They have actually done studies that think the appendix could be what helps regulate the menstrual cycle of women!. I don't think this is proven yet though!. Nothing else useful though!Www@Answer-Health@Com
