The hot temperature affect multiple sclerosis?!
Question:
The hot temperature affect multiple sclerosis?
Answers:
Some people do not get affected at all by heat, and some people get affected by severely cold temperatures. But for many people with MS, the heat can really worsen symptoms. This is temporary, and can be helped by staying well-hydrated and cool.
The MSAA also offers free cooling vests to people with MS who qualify (and the income guidelines are pretty generous). Click on the link here for more info and to download a catalog and an application. You may also pick two other cooling accessories for free - such as a cooling hat or cooling neck scarf.

Your neurologist must write a short note (literally a sentence or two) saying that you have MS and have problems with the heat.
For me personally, the heat makes my legs feel as heavy as cement, yet as weak as wet noodles.
Hope this helps!
