Question: How do they test for cancer!?

For your knowledge-
* U have to elaborate your history to the Physician
*He'll do a clinical examination
*He'll ask for a sonography / Upper or lower GI endoscopy & a biopsy which ever is needed for your condition!.

Biopsy is the best method to test any malignant tumor/cancer!. As for the stomach, I advise you to get a colonoscopy done to check your colon for any malicious lump!. But before doing so, consult a professional doctor first!. A lump in the stomach doesn't always mean cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
blood tests, and ct scans / pet scans are the best ways of testing for cancer!.
do not get a biopsy done!.!.!. my hubbys liver surgeon said that biopys arent good, espically in organs like the liver, as biopsys can 'spill' the defective dna into the blood stream and help it spread faster!. (his a wise doc, my hubby had his liver resected 2 years ago and is now doing good)Www@Answer-Health@Com

they do a biopsy thing on you!. i think they take a chunk out of your tissue and then they observe it!. but, dunno, i'm not sure!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
