okay so basically im 17 and i realize that acne around this age is very common but thats not my main problem. im taking care of the acne with birthcontrol and it has gotten a little better so far. ive never had horrible acne just occasional breakouts. but besides that i really want to have smaller pores, a more even skin tone and most of all NO BLACKHEADS. im really not sure what to do. i use glycoloic acid and still that doesnt work. im thinking about just giving up and going to a dermatoligist but i cant really afford that right now. what should i do?

Well most have blackheads on their nose, I use biore pore strips sometimes.
I also use glycolic, I alternate with a 2 % salicytic acid wash (and I use a gentle scrub several times a week).
Aside from the pill, a zinc citrate supplement (about 25 mg extra a day) can help skin.
A primer may also reduce the appearance.
