What is this?...Athlete's foot? ?!

Question: What is this!?!.!.!.Athlete's foot!? !?
I am a female with an issue with one of my feet!. My right foot has been hurting the last few weeks or so!. I feel it getting more painful now while I am up and walking around as opposed to before when I was home taking my shoes off!. My feet sweat and it might be that but im not sure!.

between my pinky toe and second one in and on the bottoms of each of the small digits as well as the base of the toes where they connect to the foot!. Its red and raw like several layers are gone!. You can distinctly see where it goes red raw and white normal non-painful tissues!. um!.!.!.!.I have smelly feet anyways--thanks dad-- but this area I think is a little more so!. And when I take my shoes and socks off at night after work and they dry off the sweat the red parts of skin feel tight!. I can naturally curl the pinky toe on top of the second toe without touching it and when i do this it hurts sharp pains!. like the skin is too raw or tight or something and only when i lube it with lotion does this go away and i can move my toe without pain!.!.!.!.!.its only on the one foot and i feel it today for the first time at work whereas before i only realized it and noticed it at home when the foot had air to it and the sweat dried!. Ive not changed socks or shoe types in ages!.!.!.!.what is this!? I have a rash ointment ive used to no avail and lotion doesnt work!. they only work to aliviate the pain for the night!. doesnt go away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like athlete's foot, which is a fungal skin infection!. You can buy creams/powders for this over the counter!.

I start getting a similar problem in the summer if I leave my sweaty running socks & shoes on for too long after a workout!. This suggests that the thing which causes it likes warm, damp places!.

I would suggest wearing socks made from 100% natural fibres (ie cotton), and wear sandals or go barefoot as often as possible!. Also make sure you dry throroughly between your toes after showering!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off you need to change your socks and shoes!. That could be the main reason why your feet are soar!. Second take showers everyday and wash between your toes and your feet with soap!. This may hurt but it could heal this way!. Also it may be all the dirt and germs in your shoe after not changing the pair and your socks as well!. If you don't do something about this then this could effect your toe nails as well!. Lastly, go to the doctors to find a cream solution to help fix the problem!. I hope this will help you, good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
