DOXYCYCLINE......how long do i keep using it?!
Question: DOXYCYCLINE!.!.!.!.!.!.how long do i keep using it!?
i have been taking doxycycline for almost a year now, but acne has deff improved greatly!. i go to a dermatologist every 2 weeks or so!. but how long until i can actually stop using it, isnt it killing my liver!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i used doxycyline for 4 months!.!.stopped using it and my skin is clear with the occasionaly spot!.!.which clears up as soon as i put anibiotic cream on it
i reckon you could stop it now!.!.just remember to wash your face regularly and to eat lots of vitamins :)

Tell your prescriber or health care professional if your symptoms do not improve in 2 to 3 days!.
Keep out of the sun, or wear protective clothing outdoors and use a sunscreen!. Do not use sun lamps or sun tanning beds or booths!.
Make sure your diet provides vitamin B!. Ask your prescriber or health care professional for advice if you think you are short of this vitamin!.
Birth control pills (contraceptive pills) may not work properly while you are taking this medicine!. Use an extra method of birth control for at least one month
