Second bladder infection in 2 weeks?!
Question: Second bladder infection in 2 weeks!?
So last week, I was noticing that every time I tried to urinate, it burned to do so!. I also spotted a bit of blood in the urine!. Anyway, I got a urine test done, and they found that I had a bladder infection, so they gave me antibiotics to clear it up!. The bladder infection cleared for about 2 days, but I was still noticing a foul smell to my urine, and blood and all that, but the burning was gone!. I went back for another urine test, and got the results withing 2 days!. They found nothing!. Now, I`ve just taken a bladder test a few days ago, and found that I have a uti!. I was wondering, what`s they cause of frequent bladder infections!? Is there something more that I should be concerned about!? By the way, I'm only 17, and have sexually active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, make sure you finish all of your antibiotics! Make sure your wiping yourself front to back!Urinary tract infections are caused by bacteria!. The bacteria enter the bladder by traveling up the urethra!. In general, the urethra is protected, but if the opening of the urethra (or the vulva in girls) becomes irritated, bacteria can grow there!. Common irritants are bubble bath and shampoos!. Sexual intercourse or careless wiping after a bowel movement might also cause irritation!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had the same problem!. The doctor 'specialist' told me to get a MRI done to make sure it wasn't some kind of kidney failure or tumor!. Unfortunately I didn't get it done because I didn't have the money!. I still have uti's, so it may be wise to see a specialist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know this will sound silly, but it worked for me!. I used to get them ALL the time!. My friend told me that after sex I needed to get up and go pee!. I haven't had one since!.
Other things to think about, make sure you are wiping front to back!. If you wipe back to front you are bringing some nasty stuff to your urethra that doesn't belong there!
Also, only wipe with the toilet paper from front to back ONCE!. If you rewipe, you are still bringing those germs to the front!. Wipe, drop paper in toilet!. If you need to wipe more, get a few more squares!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
