I have A.D.D.? i dont understand.?

i have A.D.D. and i take adderal, though only *** needed. my A.D.D. does affect me during school, i get detentions weekly, for running my mouth and acting inappropriately. yet my grades are extremely good. it doesnt take long for me to push my moms nerves to the edge. i dont understand why i should have to take my medicine if i do well academically and socially. i dont mind taking it, but i feel it slows me down, and its just really fun having a.d.d. i almost enjoy it because im very creative and ready for anything. i guess what im trying to ask is that what exactly am i taking it for? is there more to it than how well i do in school and stuff like that?

Take it only if it makes you feel better! Just watch your relationships with other people as you are on a completely different plane most of the time. Perhaps that's the reason behind detention and your mother pushing it on you.
