What could be wrong with me?!

Question:

What could be wrong with me?

For about a month now, I have had constant lightheadedness, dizziness, hot and cold spells..which has brought on anxiety attacks. It is a struggle just to drive anymore, in fear that I'm going to pass out while driving down the road. I am 42 years old. Had a partial hysterectomy 15 years ago. I had such a panic attack a couple weeks ago that I ended up in the emergency room. They ran alot of tests and came up with my carotid artery in my neck is 75% blocked with cholesterol and I have a deficiency in my blood. I do not think this is the cause of my lightheadedness and dizziness. I know lightheadedness is usually a sign of lack of oxygen to the brain. My heart checked out fine and no signs of stroke. I haven't had 2 good days in a row in a very long time and its almost to the point that my health is depressing me. Could I be experiencing menopause?

The blood deficiency is Factor V Leiden deficiency. They started me on an aspirin regimen to thin my blood. I am also taking Zocor for the cholesterol problem.

I had my thyroid removed 5 years ago. My thyroid level is fine. I went this morning and had my estrogen levels checked. Waiting on the results.

Answers:

Possibly could be menopause. I think there are some basic things people need to do when they experience bad health symptoms. Drink only water. (no soda, coffee) Get at least eight hours of restful sleep. Exercise at least an hour a day. Avoid stress or do relaxing breathing or yoga exercises to make yourself feel good. Change to a diet without sugars and lots of fats and cholestorol. If your symptoms do not improve at all, your body should be flushed of many toxins and other things and at least it should be easier for you and the doctor to diagnose the real problem. (Again, perhaps it is only menopause)
Hope that helps and I hope your health improves!
