What the causes of alopecia areata?!

Question:

What the causes of alopecia areata?

Do your hair grow back

Answers:

Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune disease where your body attacks certain portion of the hair follicles and cause them to die. No one knows the real cause, but it can be exacerbated from other diseases, stress/anxiety, and it can be closely associated with diseases such as Lupus or Rheumatoid arthritis.

Treatment is steroid. If the symptom is severe, a doctor may inject steroid into the bald spot. Steroid cream may be helpful. Usually hair will grow back after a few months, but it can occur at the same spot or other areas.

See your doctor to check out for other causes.
