There are many, many anti-psychotic drugs. All of them have side effects, but different drugs have different side effects for different people. A drug that makes you very hungry might make me very sleepy, instead.
Talk to your health care provider, and explain to him or her that the drug you have been given is giving you problems with the side effects, and ask if you can try another drug in that class. Sometimes it take a while to find the drug which works best for a person, and which has the least offensive or difficult side effects.
