Question:
Why normal human stool is yellow color? where the color came from?
Recently I had observed patients stool's color, which is normally yellow. While after co-lyte drinking to clear the digestion system and nothing left in colon or intestine, patients starts discharge water, but still in a yellow color.
Why always yellow color ?
I guess there are micro-communities inside digestion system and it is yellow color.?
Answers:
Stool contains bile salts, which include degraded compounds from old blood cells; this gives it some degree of yellow color. Other colors come from food and bacterial action; and yes, most bacteria are yellowish in color as well.
