I see things that arent there?

I see things that aren't there. I get quite fidgety and then turn my head and look to see if i was imagining it or not. In the morning i went the living room and i was lying on the floor. I thought i saw a cat and i was looking for her but couldnt find her. This all started after i read 1-800-Where-r-u? by meg cabot. Jessica's brother is has the disease schizophrenia. What are the symptoms and do i have it? I have a great eye sight, i don't need glasses.
