How come splinters hurt so much when they are so small?!
Question:
How come splinters hurt so much when they are so small?
Answers:
Usually, we get splinters in our hands or feet which have some of the most tactile sensors then any other part of your body. Therefore, even a tiny splinter will have a painful effect when they break the skin. To test this theory: Get two pencils, and put the points right next eachother on your palm--how many do you feel? Then get someone to do the same thing on your back? Ideally, you should do this blindfolded for both your hand and your back...
