how does bio oil work?!

It has purcellin oil in it. I can tell you that it worked amazingly for me. I had a surgical scar on my ankle that was about 10cm long. It developed a nodule and was ugly, thick and red. Even the surgeon said it was a nasty scar that didn't heal well. I used bio oil once a day for about 3 months and I now have a flat, White scar. Pure Vitamin E is also wonderful for scars. Rose hip oil is supposed to work very well too but I have never tried it.
