my blood pressure is 81/ 40... is that normal?

maybe it's because i have anemia?

Hypotension (low blood pressure) is less than 90/60 which you are. In atheletes and very healthy people a low blood pressure is a sign of good cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel) health. BUT....there may be an underlying problem. Low blood pressure may cause inadequate blood flow to the heart, brain and other vital organs. Low BP can cause dizziness or lightheadedness. Low blood pressure can be associated with many things such as heat exhaustion, heat stroke, liver disease, many over the counter medications, or you could be dehydrated. You should see your physician about this.
