Sudden cataracts?!

Question:

Sudden cataracts?

This is weird, lately I have sudden cataracts that appear out of a sudden. For example, two weeks ago I looked in the mirror and noticed a little white spot in my right pupil. Then this morning there's one in my left eye. But last night there wasn't any. Is sudden cataracts a sign of a serious medical condition?

Answers:

Are you sure this wasn't an 'eye bugar'? I don't know the actual name for it, but it is like the crud that usually comes to the corner of your eye when you sleep, commonly called 'sleep in the eyes'. Wish I knew the technical name. Anways, these bugar type things can occur anytime, not just when sleeping. When still in the eye they are usually white and slimy and move around on your eye. You can generally rub it out of your eye or touch your CLEAN finger to your eye and get it out. I have always had these bugars but they are worse when I wear my contacts.
