Whats the best free weight workout for your heart

Your not going to like this but in my Cardiac Rehab they started us with dumbbells at 3 pounds and went up to 5 pounds after a long time ( 6 weeks, 3 times per week).
If you have bad heart problems you DO NOT want to lift significant weight. In my case I am limited to 10 lbs.
If you must lift a heavy weight (try not to-get help) lift move it and then sit down until your pulse rate comes back down. Don't pick and carry. Lifting a weight will cause an almost immediate increase in the pulse rate. Keep it up and you could end up being a dead duckie.
It would be a good idea to discuss it with your Doctor.
