Question: Is this the beginning of pneumonia?
Ok so I have asthma and I have been in the hospital before with a Pneumonia when I was younger and iv been having more asthma and my chest has been hurting with sharp pains like near my rib cage they've been very sharp shooting pains, my breathing has been very harsh and is getting worse. I know that I need to go see a doctor I'm working on it. Iv been feeling a little nauseous but

It does not sound like it. The sharp pain is from the muscles on your ribs, spasming . You can get some relief from taking minor pain medicine and lying down with a cool damp towel(s) covering your ribs. You feel better after you get your asthma under control.
