what is up with my vision?!
Question: What is up with my vision?
Answers:
If your blood sugars have been running high (over 250), the excess blood sugar causes your corneas (the clear parts of the front of your eyes) to swell. This goes away in about 2 days after your blood sugars come back down to more normal levels.
Diabetes also increases your risk for more serious eye problems, such as cataracts and glaucoma, as well as bleeding into the retina (if you think of your eye as a camera, the retina is the film). Diabetics should see an Ophthalmologist (an eye surgeon) once a year minimum for a thorough eye exam, including dilation of the pupils in order to get a thorough view of your retinas. If you're experiencing any sudden decrease in your vision, you should call your ophthalmologist immediately. Bleeding into the retina can cause your retinas to become detached, and if this is not repaired quickly, it can lead to permament blindness.

How old are you and did you check your blood glucose levels recently? Type 2 diabetes may cause blurred vision but can be cured simply by using proper medications..
