Mice in office?!
Question:
Mice in office?
We have had mice in our office for a while now they don't seem to be getting rid of them. I have been told that mice droppings have been found on my desk quite often, I have never seen it myself as i believe the clenaers get it before I come in. However my desk is kinda cluttered so imagine they clean around the mess.
Is there much of a risk of catching something nasty from it? A friend of mine was freaking me out about something I think he called Vine deaise or something that is deadly apparently?

Beware: Leptospirosis is a rare, severe, and contagious infection caused by several types of the Leptospira bacteria.
Leptospirosis includes all infections caused by the genus Leptospira, regardless of serotype, including infectious (spirochetal) jaundice and canicola fever. Symptoms are biphasic. Both phases involve acute febrile episodes; the 2nd phase sometimes includes hepatic, renal, and meningeal involvement. Diagnosis is by darkfield microscopy, culture, and serology. Treatment is with doxycycline or penicillin.
