I have to agree with Denise it does seem odd that the doctors would remove a lymph node mass rather than treat it. You may want to enroll in Medicaid to get coverage. It will pay for your treatment should you need it for whatever this lump turns out to be. You do qualify as you are no income etc Call your county unemployment/social services dept and get the ball rolling on signing up for medicaid it only takes a month or so to get enrolled(unless you are in Texas where they have basically de funded the program) --- Good Luck.
How can doctors drain you of your money to tell you what you already know, when you know nothing?
No one can tell you the proper term for a mass in your thigh as you cannot be diagnosed over the internet. And it is very odd for a doctor to removed lymph nodes for “build up of infection”.
