Do immunizations have side effects?!

Question: Do immunizations have side effects?
I'm working on a Bio project and I'm trying to prove whether or not immunizations are related to any long-term side effects that patients get after taking the vaccine (such as autism.. and so on)

If you don't mind answering to the following poll, it will be much appreciated :)

Current Age:
Did you or anyone you know experience short- or long-term side effects after a vaccine you took?
If so, what vaccination was it? (And if you feel comfortable, What side effects did you experience?)

Thanks so much.

Answers:

Polls are a terrible way to conduct research.

Look at some statistics if you want information worth anything.

Autism is not a long term side effect of vaccines.

For known, corroborated side-effects: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/side…

My sister got a vaccination in 2002 when she was 2 years old and has had Asperger's ever since. Not sure if you can link the mercury in the vaccination to the Asperge'rs, but good luck with your project.
