When you get up your blood pressure (BP) could fall and that could leave you pale. Then during the day the pressure could go back up and the color come back. If the color is in your legs, it could be because your heart is not circulating well enough. You might have Congestive Heart Failue (CFR) and then the heart can't pump the blood back up strong enough and it pools in your legs and ankles making them dark and bluish color. However, it is not the same when the color is in your face.

I think perhaps you are thinking of face color and arm color and that can be lightened due to lackof blood and it can be from low BP.

Why not go to your doctor and describe your symptoms and check it out. They may have you lie down on the table for a bit and then get up and see how the pressure is. My husband at one time would get low pressure when he stood up or got up. The could pass out even from the blood not being in his head as well as it should have been. Now he has a pacemaker but he has the blood pooling in legs and has a fluid retention problem. I don't think this is your problem.

You should also on rising, sit on the edge of the bed until you do not feel dizzy and you feel normal or the color returns. Then and only then should you stand up. When the BP is low there is danger of you passing out. It could be a bit of a heart problem too, but only doctor can tell you that.

Don't depend on any of us on this venue when you should be going to be checked by your doctor. He can do EKG tests on your heart and can measure your BP while lying down and sitting up and standing. That sometimes tells them a great deal. Good luck.
