It looks like your brother went to the hospital quite soon. I doubt that he is going to have severe effects. Amoxicillin is a very popular antibiotic with proven history of safety. I don't think there's that many morbidity directly from amoxicillin overdose.

Of course, anything in sufficiently large quantity can kill you. I suppose if you take a lot of amoxicillin, it can leave some kidney damage, cause nausea, diarrhea , and vomiting. The latter 3 are common side effects so there's nothing to worry about unless it is super severe. The kidney damage, you might have to worry.

But, 14 tablets is NOWHERE NEAR that kind of toxicity. Your brother is going to be fine. Wrost case scenario, even if the doctors find it severe enough, they will clean out your brother's stomache, inject fluids into his body, etc. Since your brother went to the hospital quickly, it should be fine.

Amoxicillin is a antibiotic so in my opinion 14 tablets take together is impossible.
