[HELP]; I'm REALLY scared!?!

Question: [HELP]; I'm REALLY scared!?
I feel like crying, I'm so afraid..

I got my nose done in Nov with a gun. At the time, I didn't think it was a bad idea but now I'm freaking out because I heard you can get HIV/HEP .. I no longer have the piercing in, I took it out due to the area being irritated (piercing rubbed on pillow and almost fell out).

Should I go get tested? I'm really worried. I can't control my thoughts and I'm really, really scared of diseases (hypochondriac).

Your first clue and red flag ,should be your fear...and pain. Go to a doctor. Get it looked at and medicated. Then healed. Then you have no more fear or pain. Do "yourself" a big favor . It is better to be safe than sorry right? I will keep you in my prayers friend.

Chances are your fine so relax. If you got your piercing from a reputable place then you should have nothing to worry about. Next time you get anything invasive done ask about there standard of care when it comes to cleaning their instruments. Most places have an autoclave to clean everything. Also you mentioned the gun isn't that used to peirce your body part with the jewelry you purchased? Really I would not lose sleep over this. If you continue to freak out over this go to your Dr and explain your concerns. You can also purchase an OTC kit for testing for HIV I don't think they carry one for hepatitis though. Really don't worry I am sure all is well.

ok. if you went to a clean place(where they dispose of things that are used and are sanitized, etc) then there should be no way to get any type of disease or infection.
if you like it then get it done again. try to clean your pillow cases often.if its healed, maybe put a band aid over it. thats what i did my first night when i put my new L-bend nose stud in. i love it.its easy to take in and out and wont fall out

It's pretty unlikely. You sound like you're pretty stressed out about it. Why not get tested and eliminate your worry?

You'll feel better after you get tested!

Best of luck!

I always get tested for everything even if I do look stupid to drs the slightest thing wrong and I'm there. It's better to b safe
