If it is not cancer why are they doing a CT?
I hope you are seeing a urologist, he should be answering all of your questions.
Biopsies are NEVER done for testicular cancers. After the testicle is removed they will know the histological type. The CT helps with staging.
Treatment will depend on the type and the stage.
I am a cancer registrar.
I'm not a doctor, but I am a testicular cancer survivor. Should it be cancer, they will remove the testicle as soon as possible. The cat scan was to check to see if it had moved to the lymph nodes. If it has moved to the lymph nodes, there are two options - chemo or surgery. Should it have moved beyond the lymph nodes, your doctor may suggest other treatment options. If I've learned one thing, it is that every man is different, and that there are multiple kinds of testicular cancer and testicular cancer tumors. Types of chemo will depend on the type of tumor. This site has links to credible resources around the world. I would suggest avoiding blogs and such, as there is a lot of misinformation out there. Good luck and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

The answer to your questions are best answered by the physician after the biopsy and the pathology report is available. The majority of testicular tumors are seminomas which are curable with chemotherapy.
There are other less common types that are less responsive. Speak with your doctors and good luck.
