Peter is right, but there are hundreds of risks with everything - without trying to sound tedious.

I spoke to my doctor about smoking once, I smoke 2-3 a day. He said that you're 'generally' fine until you get to 35-40 and then you should strongly consider quiting.

To put it into perspective, walk around in any busy city next to traffic every day and you're probably inhaling as many 'deadly gases' as your cigarettes produce by themselves.

I do believe (only one opinion of 6 billion people on this planet, so don't get angry anyone), that provided you appreciate and enjoy smoking, there's no reason not to. It sounds odd but when I do smoke, I make sure I'm not distracted by phones or videos. I just sit in the sun (when possible), have a nice drink in my hand and light one up. Not harming anyone, it relaxes me and who's to say having those 'chilled moments' doesn't benefit me, psychologically if not biologically.

I've been thinking :-)

That's nothing. I know people who smoke 2 packs a day. 2 smokes a day won't kill you, and it shouldn't bother anyone else. There's just a huge anti-tobacco campaign going on, so I'm sure everyone will tell you about how deadly cigarettes are. To be realistic, nothing will happen to you from smoking two cigarettes a day. Edit- You're absolutely right about diet. A good diet is by far the most crucial thing if you're trying to stay healthy.

Common sense, and knowledge.

Even smoking a bit causes you to die earlier, lung disease (the nicotine turns your lungs black), disgusting teeth, bad breath, people might not like you because you stink around them, trouble breathing (especially when you get older), you feel eager and jumpy a lot (you will not be able to function without a cigarette!).

I just learned all this in school.

I read recently that even moderate smoking is risking your health to cancer, ect. It was on time.com so it was an AP release...something about they proved that just one cigarrette changes/affects the dna in your lungs. The moral of the story was there is no 'safe' amount of smoking. No one can tell you wont get sick, no one can say you will. Just quit..I know its hard tho.

What's the point of working out and eating healthy if you're putting over 4000 chemicals in your body everyday. Smoking is smoking no matter how many cigarettes you have :/

"Every cigarette brings you closer to cancer."

still a chance of gettin diseases. also, habit could worsen over time. careful.

try to quit, its bad. there are 100s of risks. Cancer, brain aneurysm and much more
