How fast can MRSA kill?!
Question: How fast can MRSA kill?
Answers:
Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) can be easily diagnosed within 24 hrs. First and foremost, you need to have a simple culture taken. It's a bacterial infection that is resistant to most all antibiotics. Vancomycin is one of antibiotic that may be used to treat MRSA. But, sometimes, a simple drainage process may be sufficient.
I'm wondering why you think you have MRSA? And, what s/s are you experiencing? That would help me answer your question more accurately.
I've worked in the microbiology dept. of hospitals which require every patient that's admitted to have a nasal culture preformed during admittance, specifically for this particular bacterial organism.

Sometimes within hours. Definitely within days. You can't tell if it is MRSA until you have attempted treatment with antibiotics. If you have had MRSA before or it has gotten very bad very quickly, then you have to go to the Dr. anyway. Go to the hospital if you have to. Go to the county health dept. or something.
