Does a kidney stone always hurt.?!
Question: Does a kidney stone always hurt.?
Answers:
No. I have one right now in my left kidney. It's small, and I was told unless it moves or blocks a pathway, it will not hurt. I have blood too. After seeing a urologist 3 times I was told not to worry about it, unless it gets large and moves. Have the size checked out. If you pass it, and it's larger, it's a painful event. My father had several throughout his life.
Kidney stones will pretty much always hurt unless you have some kind of condition that makes it so you feel no pain. Consult your doctor immediately because this could be an infection or some other serious problem.
