Question: Ok, I know I shouldn't take them but I want to. Any suggestions for over the counter ones? I can't take anything with Niacin in it so that's the only restriction. I would go to a doctor for help but I have no insurance and I can't really afford a doctors visit.

Like everyone said, they don't work or rather, they work temporarily. I suspect by the way you worded your question you (or your inner saner person) already knows this. It's time to really think about this and change the cause of your weight (overeating, eating the wrong things, inactivity, etc.). Good luck - it's not easy!

Those don't work, because right after you stop using them you'll just eat alot and regain that weight.
