If I wear ankle weights all day...?!
Question: I work in an office environment, but I am a vegetarian and eat fairly healthy, although I've still been steadily gaining a pound here and there. Would wearing ankle weights help to reduce the gaining of weight, even if I were to find 2-3 pound weights instead of 5? Or maybe just wearing them for a couple hours a day as oppose to all day to avoid the stress on joints etc.

This will probably not raise your metabolism enough to cause weight loss. To really focus on weight loss, you need to engage in PROLONGED low-intensity cardio-vascular exercise such as brisk walking or light jogging for at least forty minutes at a time. Short brusts of resistive exercise (wearing ankle weights) will probably be inadequate for your weight loss goals.
